Company Secretary Forum

On November 27, 2018, Morrow Sodali sponsored the 2018 Company Secretary Forum, hosted by Thomson Reuters.

David Shammai, Cross Border Director of Corporate Governance, participated in a plenary panel focusing on the "Practical tips for the Company Secretary in managing Corporate Governance reform".

Other notable panelists included Victoria Whyte, Company Secretary at GSK, Paul George, Executive Director at FRC and Freddie Woolfe, Head of Responsible Investment at Merian. The panel was chaired by Peter Montagnon, Associate Director at the Institute of Business Ethics.

The backdrop to the panel discussion was the state of legislative and regulatory changes, whether already implemented or recently announced and that are expected to affect UK corporate governance.
