Grandi banche e popolari: sono i fondi i nuovi padroni - La Repubblica, Italy Italian banks are more and more owned by foreign institutional investors

"Global investors such as Blackrock, Vanguard, Invesco and others are more and more present among banks' shareholder base which appears to be more widespread than other companies listed on Piazza Affari,” commented Fabio Bianconi from Morrow Sodali on La Repubblica. “Even if many of these have a passive management, they are internally equipped to monitor corporate governance best practices in portfolio companies.”
