Morrow Sodali is recruiting a Corporate Governance Manager. Working place: London. Education: Corporate Governance Analyst Qualifications or Law degree, or Social Science, or International Affairs or Political science, post graduate degree preferred. Candidate Profile: • Serve as a senior expert in Morrow Sodali focusing on CG and Remuneration issues • Responsible for research and analysis of CG and Remuneration issues; • Work closely with Account Managers and Sales team to give them input to approach clients and issuers. • Monitor CG trends to ensure that Morrow Sodali continue to provide clients with new solutions and products; • Engage, in conjunction with Account Managers, with Chairmen, CEOs and other senior representatives of the issuers • Work closely with the Director of Operations to manage and develop the governance team; • Contribute to the redaction of articles, public representations of Morrow Sodali’s view

Requirements

  • Investment Stewardship Director of Asset Managers and/or Corporate Governance advisory experience preferred
    • Background: experience with European investor engagement and corporate governance issues;
    • Strong management skills and propensity to manage teamwork;
    • Excellent consulting skills;
    • Ability to read and analyze financial statements;
    • Strong, clear writing skills, ability to present potentially complicated issues into clear, and simple manner;
    • Experience managing multiple projects;
    • English mother tongue;
    • Reviewing official documentation drafted by the relevant department assisting and suggesting possible implementations and compliance with best practices and investor community;
    • Supporting Company Secretary and Board members in preparation of meetings with investors through training and induction programs.
